Unictron Technologies Corporation is a leading provider of antennas, antenna modules, piezoelectric ceramic elements, and ultrasonic sensors in Taiwan.
Founded in 1988, Unictron started out as an electronic components distributor in Taipei, Taiwan. We now have established our own product developing team and manufacturing facilities in Hsinchu (Longtan) and Tainan. Our two major product groups are antennas and antenna modules for wireless communications and piezoceramic elements for sensors, transducers, actuators, or haptics. Our products have been widely used in various electronic devices by internationally renowned customers all over the world, including some of Fortune 500 companies.

Unictron Technologies is committed to contributing to the latest industry trends and technologies through research and innovation. We have developed smaller antennas for Wi-Fi 6E communication bands with better throughput than an external antenna called Pillar antennas; a lighter alternative to high precision GPS by using chip antennas instead of a bulky ceramic patch. In ultrasonic sensor applications we are devoted to improving design/structure resulting in longer sensing distance as well as a shorter blind zone. These innovations are recognized also in many approved patents.

Unictron serves and collaborates with valued customers in various businesses with standard and customized parts. On the antenna side, we can identify the most suitable solution by selecting the proper material like ceramic, polymer, or metal, or applying the correct technology like LDS (Laser Direct Structuring), single layer or multilayer design including LTCC (Low Temperature Co-fired Ceramic). The sensor ceramic is made from in-house developed materials, including soft and hard PZT, as well as Barium Titanate (BT) material which does not contain Lead (Pb).

There are countless devices using Unictron’s antenna and piezo products. Just to name a few: 
•    in the consumer market, our antennas can be found in wireless earphones (TWS), dongles, routers, pet and bicycle trackers, and several automotive brands
•    IoT devices are connected through GSM or ISM frequencies antennas, sending data through Bluetooth, like Beacons for indoor navigation, parking space occupancy sensors, sensors in smart homes, smart meters, smart waste management
•    industrial devices with remote controlling functions, distance sensors in 4.0 automation processes
