Polytronics Technology Corp. (6224) is a Taiwanese supplier of protection components and is the first professional manufacturer of PPTC (Polymeric Positive Temperature Coefficient) in Asia. PPTC is an important component for current and overload protection in various electronic products. Their largest contract manufacturer customer is Littlefuse. In addition to PPTC, Polytronics has extended its expertise in heat dissipation technology to various heat dissipation solution products.

Three Main Product Lines

1. Protection Components: They produce overcurrent protection components (PPTC) and overvoltage protection components (ESD GDT MOV PCS TSS TVS), primarily used in the personal computer and smartphone markets. The end customers are mainly US, Japanese, and Chinese smartphone brands.
2. Thermal Cooling Solutions (TCB): This includes thermal substrates, thermal modules, thermal materials, etc., used in heat dissipation assemblies for LED lighting. In recent years, they have actively targeted the LED automotive headlight markets in China and Japan, as well as the industrial power module board market.
3. Current Limiting Modules (CLM): CLM is another type of overcurrent and overvoltage protection device, in addition to PPTC. CLM modules can be used for protection in series and parallel battery configurations and can be combined with IC components to provide simultaneous overcurrent and overvoltage protection. They are applicable to protection components for lithium batteries.
